Dr. Lai obtained his Ph.D. Degree in Organic Chemistry in 1992 from State University of New York and performed his ostdoctoral research at Harvard University. Since then he has been working in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries including a custom synthesis company for 7 years and a major multi-national pharmaceutical company for 4 years.
