We have been watching the emerging network of scientists on ChemSpider and have been amazed at both the quality and quantity of communication fostering global knowledge of chemical structure variance. Our organization is creating a "patient" centered virtual network that traverses systems of care and geographic regions. The purpose: to enhance safety and ease of self management for persons requiring health-care services; provide transparency for the evaluation of health-care process and clinical outcomes and ensure that the Patient Centered Medical Home is defined by all stakeholders: Patient, Provider, Purchaser and Payer.
