New Visual Cues for Wikipedia on ChemSpider

We are making some subtle changes to the interface of ChemSPider and adding visual cues so that people can more quickly navigate to the information. Over the past couple of years we have put a lot of work in to integrate Wikipedia content to ChemSpider and assist a group of committed individuals to curate the Wikipedia Chemistry content. We want to help people identify when records connect to Wikipedia so in Table mode we have now added the Wikipedia logo so that it is easy to recognize the association. Nice feature! I think this will also help users find the “common” ChemSpider entry among a group, since Wikipedia only covers common compounds. For an example, try searching palytoxin. Thanks.

Martin…what is interesting is that four of those palytoxin structures are from the same database – Marinlit. I’ll contact John Blunt and ask him to confirm which is right…he is an expert in the field.
