Thumbnails and Structures on the ChemSpider Journal of Chemistry

We have continued to receive submissions for the ChemSpider Journal of Chemistry and have added those submissions, and some other Open Access articles, to the First issue. There are now 11 articles online as examples of what we intend to deliver in terms of the ChemMantis markup system.

The articles are available online here and there are features to view thumbnails and structures associated with an article now.  It should be obvious what is what by clicking on the icons shown on the left.

When you switch on thumbnail and structure views then you will have the type of view shown below. While this is not perfect yet (for example, we need to deal with chemical names which do not convert to chemical structures) it is a useful enhancement for viewing the data.
