Aug 27 2012 3:32PM Normal Acknowledged I guess I was not explicit enough in the first feedback. You agreed that there was confusion on the EINECS number, but you failed to review and fix other obvious mistakes The ChemSpider ID 14653 and 63389 almost appear to somehow been mixed. They are not the same molecule. Items with a*, are corrections to your db entries. The EINECS numbers are correct as best as I can tell. CHEMSPIDER id 14653 Picture matches 1-pentene-3-one NAME 1-Pentene-3-one not ethylacrolein* systemic name 1-Pentene-3-one RN 1629-58-9 EINECS] 216-624-3 synonyms delete Ethyl acrolein delete Ethylacrolein CHEMSPIDER id 63389 Picture matches 2-methylene butanal NAME 2-Methylene Butanal (add space) systemic name 2-methylene butanal (add space) RN 922-63-4 (NOT 1629-58-9)* [EINECS] 213-079-3 synonyms delete ethylvinylketone add 2-methylenebutanal I cannot speak to whether there are other mistakes in these two entries PS - when you send an email on the verdict, consider having a real email address to respond back to, since that way the clarifications of what is unfinished could go to the previous reviewer. This form is hard to write major corrections into.
Thank you for your additional information. I apologise for not notifying you that I had implemented your changes sooner. Any specific feedback and queries can always be sent to the address that is used on the notification email that you receive when an admin provides a response to a piece of feedback..
Aug 24 2012 6:21PM Normal Fixed http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/aldrich/256145?lang=en&region=US shows the correct structure, names and CAS. The CAS listed here is incorrect and you show two EINECS numbers. The correct number for ethacrolein is 213-079-3 [EINECS], which is how I figured out the errors in this chemspider entry. CAnnot say if the remainder of the information is corrct.
Thank you for your feedback, I was able to confirm the EINECS number against the ESIS database and have made the appropriate changes
