Nov 25 2011 1:11AM	Normal	Rejected	It think that the 2D formula is wrong, whereas the 3D is OK. Both the 2D and 3D structures are correct, the two depictions represent two tautomeric structures which undergo rapid interconversion.
Apr 12 2010 7:58AM	Normal	Acknowledged	Tony Interesting one is this. It would seem that many back the -diol form, you and others (eg CAS), back the -dione form. BUT the majority show this as the -one-ol and it does have a monopotassium salt, a monosodium salt and a diethanolamine salt (1:1) !! Barrie I wouldn't say we back the dione form...just that it shows up on the database that way. It wasn't a purposeful choice per se.
