I ave retrieved the data for Reserpine. When I clisk to recovere the SMILES for this structure, the "Copy Button" is overwritten by a prompt to load an Add-On to do with Active-X options. The outcome was that I was unable to retieve the SMILES string by means that have worked well in the past. Is the Active-X requirement genuine, or is this some sort of maliscous effect?
Thank you for your comment, We have not made any changes to this feature and are unable to recreate this situation ourselves - nor have we had any similar feedback so far from anyone else. The situation that you describe is likely specific to your browser and security settings - this COPY feature requires use of Adobe Flash - which allows the browser to make the text available to your computer clipboard. The notification may relate to you needing to authorise the use of the flash component. However, we are not able to advise as to any specific security warnings that your system may show, if you have particular security questions we would refer you to your system administrator/support, but If you have any further comments/questions on this subject please feel free to email us directly. |
