Throughout this paper the formula FeS is used to denote a binary material with a range of stoichiometries from 44–53% Fe. This finding is not unexpected given the typically non-stoichiometric nature of FeS. See, for example, F. A. Cotton, G. Wilkinson, C. A. Murillo and M. Bochmann,
