Having worked with guanosine as part of PhD, my understanding is that the systematic name is: 2-amino-1,9-dihydro-9-ß-D-ribofuranosyl-6H-purin-6-one. There are numerous 'other' names and those that contain a 'b' instead of 'ß' for this compound should be edited.

this is partly an issue with how various datasources store and export Greek characters. I have changed the b's to beta's. As a curator you have the ability to remove incorrect names where you see them (though not to amend them). |
