Aug 15 2014 8:42PM High Fixed Excuse me but hydroxide is a negatively charged poly-atomic ion in name. Thus, I believe your formula should be Fe(OH)3, creating the Iron (iii) Hydroxide on this page. This messed up a few students, and I would advise you to fix it.
The formula now accurately reflects the number of protons in this species. We are sorry this caused problems for your students.
