Hello,
I was wondering if there is maybe a mistake in the reported Log K_OW value that was predicted by the EPISuite software. I would assume that it is rather 1.31 than -1.31.

Thank you for your feedback. Looking at the KOW data for the 2- and 4- isomers of this compound the EPI Suite values are from experimental databases and have KOW values between 1 and 2, which makes me think that you might be correct - however we are only using the FDA's software and it might be that the value shown is exactly as the algorithm predicts (there may be factors that are not immediately obvious based upon comparison). |
