When I search Hydr0gen why does this pop up with multiple Registry Numbers and how do I know whick is the standard to use just for "H" per the periodic table? Hi Chris thanks for the feedback.
You have highlighted something that is difficult issue. There is no innate link between a registry number and one can only verify the link using the CAS registry or licenced products. In the "wild" it is possible that RNs get incorrectly associated (for many reasons). Looking at http://commonchemistry.org/ChemicalDetail.aspx?ref=1333-74-0&terms=hydrogen it appears that 1333-74-0 is the RN for molecular hydrogen, and I have curated this record to reflect that. |
