The naming between the header and the synonyms are inconsistent with respect to what bond is trans (9 or 13)
The numbering will be dependant on which end of the chain you count from. While one of these names is likely to be 'more correct' according to the naming conventions both appear to describe the same compound. In ChemSpider it is valid to have many different names that can be used to describe a compound. |
